- Project management: Design and management of emergency and development projects; - Solid experience in writing WaSH project proposals; - Technical fields: Geology, hydrogeology, water quality, hydraulics, sanitation and hygiene; construction of water catchments and pumping tests. - Hygiene promotion using various methods; - WASH in NUT, WASH in School - Mastery of the ATPC (Assainissement Total Piloté par la Communauté) approach and its tools, - End-of-study project on "Control of drilling work related to groundwater exploitation in basement and sedimentary zones". - Knowledge of sphere standards; - Knowledge of Chad's water and sanitation master plan; - Training of CGPE/HA, PMH repair craftsmen. - Assessment of WASH needs.
Work and Experience
Ensure the coordination, proper planning, execution, reporting, monitoring, evaluation and capitalization of WASH project activities in the Lac province, and provide the necessary support/advice to managers and various technicians in accordance with policies and procedures required by donors, support offices and the National Office, with a view to achieving the objectives of the WASH project and program in general. Oversee assessments in the field of WASH, participate in the elaboration of the mission strategy as well as in the development of projects according to identified needs. Ensure the proper planning, execution, reporting and monitoring/evaluation of WASH activities in the Cluster/Project and provide the necessary support/advice to the Cluster/Project Manager and the various technicians in accordance with the policies and procedures required by the donors, Support Offices and National Office in order to achieve the objectives of the WASH project and program.
Supervise the construction of mini drinking water supply systems and Californian networks, Ensure the implementation of the Minimum Washing Package in health centers and host villages (hygiene promotion, distribution of hygiene kits, rehabilitation and construction of water points, quality control of drinking water, follow-up of referrals of malnourished children); Assist the Wash Officer in planning, implementing and monitoring WASH program activities; Plan field activities with project teams, Setting up the ATPC; Set up, train and coach mothers in community-based prevention of malnutrition through the Clubs Maman/ FARN approach and link them with health structures, follow-up and coaching; Drawing up specifications and technical requirements for the various projects; Training of community structures (artisan repairers, community relays and water point management committees).
- Construction of 106 boreholes for the construction of mini-adductions (Adduction en Eau Potable: AEP) in semi-urban and urban areas in the Mandoul, Moyen Chari and Salamat regions as part of the PAEPA 10th EDF project, with diameters ranging from 9''7/8 to 12'' in sedimentary and bedrock areas. - Management of teams in charge of drilling and pumping tests (more than 30 employees under my responsibility).
