AgriJob Booster Project

Chad is one of the poorest countries in the world on the human development index. However, this country has a great potential, both for its young population and the agricultural sector, whose optimal exploitation will raise the country's socio-economic development level.

Co-funded by the Dutch agency RVO, AgriJob Booster Chad aims to stimulate decent employment for young people in the Logone Occidental and Tandjilé regions by supporting 1,000 young agripreneurs to create and establish businesses that create wealth and jobs in the agricultural sector.

The project is implemented through a public-private partnership including Woord en Daad, Job Booster Chad Entreprise, the Agence Nationale d'Appui au Développement Rural (ANADER), and the Center for Research, Innovation and Technological Production (CRIPT).

Job Booster Chad Entreprise is the partner in charge of entrepreneurial training, business coaching and facilitating access of agripreneurs to financing for the acquisition of production means.
