The issue of youth employment in Chad is crucial for the country's development and stability, primarily because over 60% of the Chadian population are young people (under 25 years old) in a context of rapid population growth (3.6% annually). 

Additionally, this population is heavily concentrated in the city of Ndjamena, which represents nearly 15% of the Chadian population. According to statistics, the national unemployment rate, which is around 22%, is even higher in Ndjamena due to the high population density and the limited number of available opportunities. 

The Job Booster Chad – Ndjamena project is funded by Woord en Daad through its Job Booster Chad entity based in Chad. Each year, the project supports approximately 200 young entrepreneurs and aspirants in creating and establishing sustainable, wealth and job-generating enterprises in key sectors of the economy.

As an execution partner, Job Booster Chad Enterprise supports young entrepreneurs through entrepreneurial training, business coaching, and facilitation of access to financing.
