LETTER OF INTENT SIGNED BETWEEN JOB BOOSTER CHAD ENTREPRISE AND KOURAN JABO

On Friday, August 25, 2023, Job Booster Chad Entreprise signed a letter of intent to collaborate with Kouran Jabo.

Solar energy is a sustainable, cost-effective solution that gives people in general, and those living in remote areas in particular, access to electricity. Statistics show that less than 10% of Chadians have access to electricity, one of the lowest rates in Africa. Many communities, particularly households and IGA promoters, are faced with a lack of access to electricity, which hampers their quality of life and the productivity of their activities. Traditional solutions, based on the use of fossil fuels, are not sustainable and can, in the long term, cause serious damage to human and environmental health. Consequently, it is important to facilitate access to alternative energy sources, such as solar energy, to help improve the quality of life of the people and the productivity of the socio-economic activities carried out by these target populations.

Job Booster Chad Entreprise and Kouran Jabo have pledged to work together to help meet these challenges. The two parties will work together to promote and facilitate access to solar energy sources, including solar equipment, in order to contribute to the socio-economic development of the populations targeted by the initiatives led by Job Booster Chad Entreprise and its partners. More specifically, the collaboration aims to achieve the following objectives:

  • Design a project to facilitate access to solar equipment at reasonable/subsidized costs for rural entrepreneurs, targets of Job Booster Chad Entreprise.
  • Organize fundraising campaigns to finance joint projects
  • Organize practical training sessions on the installation and maintenance of mini solar kits.
  • Implement, monitor and evaluate the impact of joint projects
